Filter Salesforce Lookups Based on Form Field Values Using Merge Fields
In this guide, we will explain how to use form merge fields as filters on Salesforce Lookup and Select fields. In this example, we will demonstrate how to filter records based on a Select List field.
1. Please add a Select List field on your form and add matching values with your Salesforce picklist field.
2. Please add a Salesforce Select field on your form and select the necessary Object
3. Please Save & Close the form.
4. Please click on the “Actions” button next to the form and select the “PDF Editor” option.
5. Please copy the Formyoula Select List field merge ID.
6. Please go back to the form builder page and edit the Salesforce Select field.
7. Please add the Select List field merge ID in a record filter syntax. Please use the correct Salesforce API name for the Salesforce field.

8. Once done, please Save & Close the form.
9. Now when submitting a form entry, please select a value in the Select List field.
10. And the Salesforce Select field will display only the records that apply to the record filter criteria.
